More than half of the cell phones from the entire world were made in China. The etiquette "made in China" is for the products that have half of the functionality of the original product. Having so many cell phones made in China isn't such a good thing, some people consider. Most of the explosions of the cell phones batteries were at the ones made in China. The technological development affirms that in China are also produced cell phones of a high quality. It's very cheap to produce cell phones in China. It's an advantageous process. Nobody knows for sure how many cell phones are being produced in China.

Many cell phone companies produce their products in China. For example, Nokia, the leader, is preparing a significant activity of development and research in China, project which will offer a key role to Beijing in projecting the Nokia terminals for all the markets.

Despite of the cell phones that are being produced in China there are many foreign brands like: Nokia, Samsung, Motorola and Sony Erickson that dominate the Chinese cell phones market. These four brands represent 70% of the cell phones that were bought in China. While the Europeans prefer the Chinese cell phones because of its low prices, the Chinese public buys a cell phone for the brand and they are willing to pay for big names like: Sony Erickson or Nokia.

Years ago the international markets had a more important position. But once with the apparition of the Chinese models their position has started to decline. The Chinese brands have understood the market better. They had a better plan and they've done some quality researches. They've changed the rules of the game.

The most important Chinese brand is Ningbo Bird, which was the leader of the precedent year. Maybe their cell phones aren't the best but they had a good marketing strategy. While the international brands were exclusively concerned on Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, the Chinese brands were more concerned to expand.

The Chinese cell phones aren't extraordinary, but their prices have given the opportunity to all people to afford buying a cell phone. The strategy of Ningbo Bird worked and the level increased from 2% to 14%. Their cheap models, which can be bought with $ 60- 75 have captivated people that weren't preoccupied to buy a cell phone.

Brands like Nokia and Motorola have recovered their supremacy in China with 12.6% and 11,9%. Nokia has announced sales of $2 milliard in China. The Chinese market is an important one both for producing cell phones and for buying them. Thanks to the cell phone industry, China isn't known only for bad products. They've gained some points thanks to them. Chinese cell phones are probably not so good as Nokia cell phones, for example, but at least they aren't so expensive and everybody can afford them.

Indonesian phone vendor HT Mobile has launched a new series of low-priced phones. And considering the affordability, I'm a little surprised to see more than a few special features: The HT Mobile Xtrim series (X10 and X5) are designed for shock-resistance, the A25 model for energy-efficiency, and the HT21 model is made for sound with three speakers built in.

Designed for mobile users who like outdoor adventures and need a durable phone, the Xtrim series is composed of solid material but with a sharp design. The X10 and X5 phones use dual SIM cards which enable access to various social media, the Opera Mini browser, and Java games.

While the A25 model is shock-resistant as well, it also comes with a 1800mAh battery that can run for as long as three weeks on stand-by, and boasts a talk time of 12 hours. It can play mp3 audio 15 hours nonstop. This phone has been tested in the Lab Low-Power Consumption Energy Mediatek Lab Taiwan and was certified as an energy-efficient mobile phone, and thus labeled Mediatek Green Phone.

Moving on to the HT21, a TV phone with three speakers enabling enhanced sound quality. This new phone has general multimedia features, but what stand outs is HT Mobile's MeChat application, which looks sort of like BlackBerry Messenger. Mobile-phone users can chat, add friends, send pictures, and send live videos.

Despite having an interesting range of features, HT Mobile has managed to keep these cheap mobile-phones very affordable. The series will target price points ranging from US$47 to $52.

Nuramin, the general manger of HT Mobile, says that the current phone market in Indonesia contains a lot of cheaper mobile phones from local vendors less concerned with product quality. "But not all local product quality is bad, because HT Mobile will always focus on delivering high quality products," he said.

This new keyboard is available in black or white versions with UK and USA keyboard layouts. Other commonly used keyboard formats will be launched in Q3 2011.

The market supply allows you to use a Bluetooth keyboard with the iPhone and iPod Touch.
